The Crown Estate has entered into agreements for lease for both tidal and wave power, these are areas for potential commercial projects. The projects have a potential capacity of up to 1,600 MW in the Pentland Firth and Orkney waters. This layer displays the wave renewable energy sites that are already either operational or under construction.
