Offshore Monitoring

Marine Scotland Science (MSS) undertakes a wide range of monitoring covering many aspects of the Scottish marine ecosystem. This includes monitoring the conditions of Scottish offshore waters for physical, chemical and biological aspects. 

Offshore monitoring requires larger vessels with range and endurance to collect samples in remote, often hostile, conditions.
