Seabed Geology

The seabed surface and its underlying rock formations are a complex mix of geological structures and sediments.

Various maps (WMS feeds from British Geological Survey) are presented in this section to illustrate, at a broad scale, data on continental shelf / offshore seabed sediments, hard substrate; marine bedrock and marine bedrock linear features.
