Video clips from MPA surveys

What is it: 

This layer contains 107 point locations for a selection of sites that have been surveyed by SNH, Marine Scotland or SEPA as part of the Scottish MPA Programme.  Video footage taken at each site has been cut into a short sequence and can be accessed on YouTube by clicking on the link. Each clip is a representative sample of the video tow but may not contain all features or species described in MPA supporting documents.

More Information: 

These sites are within the Small Isles Nature Conservation MPA and within or adjacent to the Sound of Barra SAC and contain information on the protected habitats and species of the sites as well as other non-qualifying features. The Sound of Barra clips were collected in April 2016 have not been fully analysed yet (lacking some biotope and descriptive information). The purpose of this layer is to act as a test for mobilising MPA-related data and it is expected to be developed to include additional datasets in the future.
