This trawl survey followed a set of protocols drawn up by an industry science survey-planning group made up of Marine Directorate scientists and fishing representatives. Biological data were collected on all target skates and rays captured, biological data were collected on a subset of megrim and four-spot megrim. Additional biological data was collected for selected species. Equipment used: BT195 Anglerfish bottom trawl with 400mm Rockhopper ground gear and tickler chain.
