These rights relate principally to the water column and may extend to 200 nautical miles from baselines.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Article 2 of the Exclusive Economic Zone Order 2013 declares the area of the United Kingdom EEZ. The Order came into force on 31 March 2014.
