Priority Marine Features

The Scottish Priority Marine Features (PMFs) are a range of habitats and species identified as being of conservation importance in Scotland, the UK, the North-east Atlantic and globally.  The PMFs are intended to help achieve the goal of healthy and biologically diverse seas by focusing conservation action and marine planning, directing research, and promoting  a consistent approach to marine nature conservation advice.
