This dataset shows blocks and part blocks subject to periodic oil and gas Licensing Rounds (now issued by Oil and Gas Authority - previously DECC). It does not contain definitive legal boundaries. This layer is a Web mapping service from UK Oil & Gas Authority showing areas that are planned to be on offer in the 30th offshore licensing round. Actual areas have NOT been finalised and are subject to change. The areas shown are for indicative purposes only.
The data can be downloaded from https://www.ogauthority.co.uk/data-centre/. The onshore licenced and offered blocks were modified to include only coastal areas.
