Description
This layer shows the limits of the Isle of Man territorial sea as defined by The Territorial Sea Act 1987 (Isle of Man) Order 1991.
This is a modified version from the UKHO Law of the Sea department data, available via https://www.gov.uk/guidance/inspire-portal-and-medin-bathymetry-data-archive-centre. The data is derived from UK 12nm limit, combined with:
- The Scottish Adjacent Waters Boundary Order 1999 (http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/1999/1126/note/made) ,
- The Adjacent Waters Boundaries (Northern Ireland) Order 2002 (http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2002/791/contents/made)
- The Welsh Zone (Boundaries and Transfer of Functions) Order 2010 (http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2010/760/contents/made)
